Evangelos-Dioikitopoulos.jpgWelcome to my homepage. I am Assistant Professor of Economics at the Department of Economics of the Athens University of Economics and Business and Research Fellow at the DAFM, King’s Business School, King’s College London.

In Fall 2022, I will be visiting the Department of Economics of Brown University.

Previously, I held tenured academic positions at the King’s Business School of King’s College London (Associate Professor of Economics) and at the Brunel University London (Lecturer).

My research interests are in the area of Macroeconomics. My research relates to topics of Economic Policy, Growth Theory, Development, Economic History, Dynamic Optimal Taxation, Debt Sustainability, Demographics and Environmental Economics. My recent work tries to explain the dynamics of income and wealth inequality through behavioural/cultural changes that occur during different (past and contemporary) stages of economic development.
